If you were looking forward to a ton of information on brand new bare-breasted toys in February from WonFes coverage, I have some very sad news for you. Danny Choo has brought us word that Kaiyodo has decided to cancel their Wonder Festival Winter in February. The reason for the cancel of the event is because of the ongoing investigation into the infamous escalator fiasco from the last WonFes.
Thankfully this does not mean it is the end of WonFes for the world. The executive committee behind it are looking into other options for the show, but for now, we'll have to find other large breasted toys to write about. I have seen my fair share of crazy convention opening sprints (PAX for instance was really freakin' insane), but nothing even compares to the craziness of the WonFes escalator fiasco, which you can see the video of over at Danny's website. It's a shame nobody has found the balls to stand up and claim responsibility for it, and as usual, the consumer has to pay. Here's to hoping we have an even bigger and better WonFes at some point soon.
Now may we all have a moment of silence for the loss of our cast-off toy super show.
