Toy Tokyo releases blind boxed plush owls next month
by Colette Bennett on 10/15/2009 7 comments

I have a theory that the reason I find buying blind boxed toys addictive is because it reminds me very much of buying capsule toys when I was a kid, which I was super into (and it thrills me to no end that they are everywhere in Japan and used by many adults). However, one thing I haven't seen a lot of is blind boxed plush, and I admit I squeaked when I saw these tiny owls. How cute!

Spanky Stokes reports that these wee faces are a collaboration between Nathan Jurevicius and Andrea Kang (in other words, awesome + awesome) and will be sold via Toy Tokyo later this year. I know I certainly want to pepper my work space with a few of these pastel dots of cheeriness. We'll keep you posted when they go on sale!
