The toys of Tokyo Game Show 2008
by Topher Cantler on 10/11/2008 3 comments

This past week, a few lucky bastards over at our big brother site Destructoid got to attend the 2008 Tokyo Game Show. While their coverage of the event has been truly outstanding -- as can only be expected from a team like Sterling, Chester and Dale F'n North -- toys and figures were obviously not their main focus.

This is Tokyo, however, and where there are games, figures are never far from view. Jim's coverage of these Dynasty Warriors minis is evidence of that, as is Colette's post on these awesome Phoenix Wright poseables. Tomopop couldn't be on hand to hold up the other corner of the entertainment media sankaku, but luckily, Akiba Hobby was present to give us a peek at everything we missed.

You can check out some shots of all manner of game-related goodies, ranging from Monster Hunter beasties to the slick new black colorway version of my own all-time favorite Chun-Li figure in the gallery below, and head over to Akiba Hobby for their full coverage of the event.
