The Merc with a Mech: Custom Deadpool Mecha by Jin Saotome
by Robert Oden on 11/17/2009 3 comments

Don't adjust your monitor. That is Deadpool piloting his own mech. Jin Saotome has done it again, giving The Merc with a Mouth a robotic suit of armor and effectively creating a nerd's plastic wet dream. As usual, Jin (real name John Mallamas) has combined a variety of existing figures with paint and sculpt to create an amazing and unique custom that fully embraces Deadpool's flair for comedic levels of over-the-top violence.

The figure is currently for sale on ebay. Check your bank account before you get too excited however, the figure has already been bid up to $355 with 5 more days before the end of the auction.

Let me preface the following statement by saying that I not only love this figure, but am also a customizer who knows a lot of work went into it. With that said, holy hell that is a lot of money for a 6 inch figure. If you ever see me spend that much on a toy; Run. I will have clearly lost my mind and am probably seconds away from shaving my head, covering myself in butterscotch pudding, and singing Lady Gaga songs at the top of my lungs.
