Sure, there are other figures up there in that picture. We could talk about the upcoming Robot Damashii releases of the Arbalest and Savages, but in the middle is the greatest figure I've ever seen. From Full Metal Panic Fumoffu comes the release of Robot Damashii Bontakun. For those unfamiliar with the series, Bontakun is a power suit used by Sousuke Sagara, as he cannot use his trademark giant mecha. Instead, a cute-looking, fully armed bear suit is use to take down a serial hair molester.

It may not look it has the greatest articulation for a figure, but I want this bad. When I saw the Robot Damashii line was expanding to the FMP series a couple months back, this was nowhere on my radar. I'm honestly shocked they are releasing it, but it's great to see the line take risks like this and not just slap it up to "limited release."

As far as release statistics, it's currently scheduled for a release at some point in 2010 with no price details made available. When news comes down the pipeline, we'll be sure to update.
