Square Enix shows off their guns: Play Arts Kai Bayonetta
by Andres Cerrato on 12/27/2009 7 comments

It's pretty hard to not like Bayonetta. When word got out at Tokyo Game Show that the game would receive a Play Arts Kai release from Square Enix, interest was definitely piqued. At Jump Fiesta 2009, we finally get to see what we have to expect from the lady shoe-gunslingers.

As to be expected from Square Enix, Bayonetta and her rival, Jeanne, look absolutely amazing. The same great detail shown in the game is seen on these figures. I especially love the gold chains going down the pants of Bayonetta as well as the emblem detail on Jeanne's jacket.

I'm just glad to see that we will be getting some nice, poseable Bayonetta action. While they won't be out in time for the U.S. release next week, the pair should be released sometime in Q1 of the new year. Expect an update once new info becomes available.
