Back in July I gave the original word of the magnificent Thriller figure of Michael Jackson being brought to the world by Hot Toys. From day one I was more excited about this than any figure I've ever seen to date, with exception to the previous Billie Jean Michael Jackson figure, as these are about tied with Thriller taking a bit of a lead.

There is some exciting news on the Thriller front with that being that if you haven't gotten your pre-order in for the figure yet, Sideshow Collectibles has now put it up for sale on their site. Sideshow is allowing its pre-orders to go for $189.99 plus shipping, so if you're inclined to own an amazing figure like this I'd suggest getting your order in now. Sideshow is giving a tentative release date of 1st quarter 2010 and I can't wait to get this in my possession and reenact the short film frame by frame!
