Sideshow Collectibles brings more Lara Croft love
by Brian Szabelski on 05/10/2008 2 comments

Earlier this year, we highlighted an amazing, yet very, very expensive Lara Croft statue brought to us by Sideshow Collectibles. For those of us not willing to shell out $250 and wait for the item to come back into stock, there's a somewhat cheaper alternative.

At only $79.99, Sideshow's 1/6-scale Lara Croft figure comes with plenty. Along with Lara's more traditional outfit comes her artic outfit, three pairs of interchangeable hands, her backpack, pistols, a detailed belt with holsters, a grappling hook, binoculars, a 12-inch figure stand... and that's just part of the list. Throw in the 30+ points of articulation on the figure and it's not a bad deal at all.

If you're interested, check out Sideshow Collectible's Web site to pre-order your own. And yes, I said pre-order, as this figure isn't being released until the 4th quarter of 2008. The Sideshow exclusive edition of this figure, which included a scaled-down Excalibur sword, is currently sold out and probably not coming back, as it was a limited edition run of 750 figures.
