Show & Tell: Custom Cranston Fellows Jr. by Leecifer
by Leah Bayer on 02/05/2010 5 comments

When I went to the custom Cranston show a few weeks back, I never expected to leave with one of the pieces. And it turns out I was right, because I had to wait a month to pick mine up. Every time I saw Leecifer's Hellcat Cranston's impish little face at myplasticheart, it dove me crazy. I wanted to take him home! Well, that day finally came, and I thought I would share with all of you the awesomeness that is this figure.

So what are you waiting for? Hit the jump to see this crazy Hellcat in action!

The paint on the Hellcat is superb. He is a fascinating piece--once I took him out of the box I could not stop staring at him. There are just so many tiny details. Every time I glance over at him, I notice something new.

Here is his little cat butt--so cute! His feet and tail are made of a soft material so I do not have to worry about accidentally cracking them, which is nice. He looks delicate, but the whiskers are the only part you have to be really careful with.

The mouse on his tongue has to be the best part of this figure. It even looks furry! You can really see the level of detail in this picture. The flecks of paint around his mouth really look like spots of blood, and the coloring on his teeth is amazing!

So what does Hellcat Cranston do in his spare time? Hang out on the bed like a regular cat, of course! After the long trek upstairs, I thought he might be a little thirsty so I gave him some milk. A few friends decided to join in!

As you can see in some of the pictures, his eyes really do glow like an actual cat's. Such a fantastic touch! That is what really sold me on this piece--Leecifer captured the essence of a cat so well. I hope to see a lot more of his work in the future!

Check out the gallery for a few more pics of this little rascal!
