SDCC 2010: Medicom's Daft Punk figures for Tron: Legacy
by Stephen Donaldson on 07/26/2010 3 comments

Well, we just showed you the new Tron: Legacy figures on hand at San Diego Comic Con, but there was one more thing hidden away at that booth... DAFT PUNK! Ok, no, not the band, but new Daft Punk figures! While Daft Punk was scheduled to perform a surprise concert, which they canceled, they did still show up in toy form! Medicom showed off some 100% Kubricks of Daft Punk as well as a set of 400% Bearbricks of them. Not only did they do that though, they also showed off a new set of the awesome Real Action Heroes featuring our favorite humans-turned-robots, Thomas and Guy-man, donning some awesome Tron: Legacy suits.

There were also a few other Kubricks and Bearbricks for Tron: Legacy on hand, which are in the gallery, but the Daft Punk pieces really stole this portion of the show. Hidden away in a corner of the booth about a foot off the floor, when I bent down to see these I immediately knew that I needed them in my life. While I would have loved to have seen Daft Punk perform live, being able to see these new figures is at least something. Will any of you Tomopeeps be picking up these awesome new Daft Punk figures when they're eventually released?
