Return of the Headmasters with Disney Label Transformers Buzz Lightyear
by Jonathan Tubbs on 01/21/2010 0 comments

Earlier in the week we got to see a look at the latest from the amazing cross over Disney Label Transformers figure series with Buzz Lightyear. A new image of Buzz has been posted at Big Bad Toy Store showing us a new tidbit of information.

Past Disney Label Transformers included a miniature version of the character they were portraying whether they were in robot mode or vehicle mode. Buzz is taking it a step further by making the miniature version of himself a part of his transformation. The miniature figure that can sit in the cockpit of his ship will transform to form the head of Buzz when in "robot" mode. Essentially bringing back the gimmick of the past Transformers Headmasters series.

No complaints here. However, I still have a complaint about how basic his transformation looks. I also have a new complaint with his "robot" mode in that it doesn't come off as Transformer-like as the previous two releases. We'll see once actual product photos surface. Anyone finding themselves interested in the Disney Label Buzz Lightyear?
