Reactor88's Totem Qee ready for We Ain't Plastic
by Brian Szabelski on 09/25/2009 0 comments

In exactly one week, more than 40 vinyl artists will have their work descend upon Lincoln, Nebraska as part of the We Ain't Plastic show. We've already shown you Jay222's Qees, and now, we're happy to bring you a glimpse at the newest revealed piece, Reactor88's Totem Qee. There's almost no mistaking Reactor88 as the artist behind this because of the traditional totem design that is emblematic of his work. It's a beautiful piece to just look at, especially some of the tiny little things Reactor has snuck into his patterned designs. For example, see the happy and sad faces painted on each ear up there?

Reactor, Jay and a host of other artists, many from Nebraska itself, will be part of the We Ain't Plastic show when it opens a week from today, October 2, from 6-9 p.m. at The Public Shoestore (1300 O St.). Lincoln is just the first stop for Reactor88's Qee, though, as it will be joining a number of others as part of the 2010 World Qee Tour to commemorate Toy2R's 15th Anniversary. Look for more information on that tour to hopefully come over the next few weeks.
