Show and Tell: Hammerin' Hero PaPETCH Figures
by Rio McCarthy on 05/15/2009 7 comments

Atlus has quickly become one of my favorite video game companies, and with games like Persona and their ability to release awesome extras with their games, who could blame me? One of the games that came out this year with an awesome set of pre-order goodies was Hammerin' Hero.

I absolutely adore the game, so getting my hands on these little figures was definitely a delight. So, hit the jump to see what the little ones got up to!

Hammerin' Hero

Even when you first see the box, you know what lies inside has to be freaking adorable, and you won't be disappointed in that matter. One of the first things I noticed is that they say PaPETCH x002 and x003, and was immediately curious as to what the first one was. I then quickly remembered that it was the adorable NiGHTS figure that was a Japan only item for the Wii game, so I immediately went to cry in a corner after seeing how expensive it was on eBay.

Once you open up the cute little boxes each figure is packaged in clear plastic with their pieces being individually wrapped. Gen-san comes with his almighty hammer as well as a stand, while Kanna came with her fan and a stand.

The figures are neat from front to back, and they felt they needed to check themselves out on their box. Needless to say they liked what they saw, as did I! They stand around 2 1/2 inches tall, so they're not very big at all, but hold a lot of cute in their tiny bodies.

Gen-san got a little bit ornery and was going to try testing out Zombie Michael's reflexes, but I talked him out of it. He thought he might need his brain and that he didn't want to get it eaten right now.

Hammerin' Hero

I almost hope they would put out a whole line of mini figures for this game so that the rest of the costumes could be shown as well. If you were at all a fan of this game, or even just the characters, I would suggest trying to find yourself these figures. You might get lucky at your local Gamestop and they might have some left, or if not you could always check eBay!
