A closer look at the new Yamato Creators Labo figures
by Colette Bennett on 05/07/2009 9 comments

I know what you're saying aloud in front of your monitor right now: "Colette, I can't believe you would do something as shameless as posting a figure's ass as the header picture on a story!" Well, believe it. I did, and that ass is about the most glorious I've seen on a PVC figure in some time. That bit of pink where the cheek meets the leg: perfection!

The ass you're gazing upon belongs to one of the two new Yamato figures from the Creators Labo series that were recently shown off at Hobby Complex 07 (if you've missed our gallery on the event, go see it here). It's called Tsukasa Bullet Sound Pretty, and you can go see Tsukasa Kiyoshi's original art for both this and Tsukasa Bullet Compact Hog, the second figure, in the gallery. More pictures of both can be found at Moeyo.

Sound Pretty's design is gorgeous, but it's Compact Hog that really captured my heart despite the fact she has yet to be painted (I think it was seeing the full costume in the original illustration that did it for me). These are both slated for release this winter. You can keep an eye out at Tsukasa Bullet Web for more on them, but just seeing this, would you want to buy either one?
