It seems quite a bit of people had taken a liking to the new Evangelion character according to yesterday's post. I had also mentioned that they already made a figure of her, but it was only there to look pretty during the WonHob9 event. Today I present to you Miss Mari Makinami, who is up and ready to be pre-ordered!

Sometimes I think it's a problem when figures are released before you actually get to know the character. I'm sure there are a lot of figure collectors who don't care about that and just want them because they are cute. While I don't care about Evangelion, I'm curious to see what kind of character Mari will be.

Mari's based on a 1/8 scale and will be available in late July 2009. The retail price is 4,4120 yen and can be pre-ordered over at HobbySearch. The quality of the figure isn't the best and it isn't the worst, but I'm sure we'll be seeing more of her in the future.
