Hot Toys MMS DX 01 The Dark Knight 1/6th scale The Joker
by Rio McCarthy on 03/31/2009 5 comments

Ok, so when I saw all of these pictures together and saw that all of this comes in one box and I would only have to buy one figure I absolutely screamed my head off and did a happy dance. I don't think there's a figure in the world I want more than this.

Hot Toys has announced their brand new product line MMS DX (Movie Masterpiece Deluxe) and what a way to kick it off. One of my favorite parts about this is that the painted head of The Joker has the Parallel Eyeball Rolling System (PERS) with colored translucent iris so that the eyes will move depending on how you have the figure set up. The eyes will move simultaneously and work in all directions so that it's as natural as human eyes.

He stands around 12 inches tall with 35 points of articulation while dressed in the Gotham City police suit, hat, Gotham City cop badge and shoes all from the assassination scene in the movie. He has his M1 Garand Rifle used for the assassination as well. One of the best parts is that he also comes with an improved and movie-accurate Joker costume with the overcoat, sport coat, vest, shirt, tie, pants, belt, socks and shoes. He has his five grenades, knife, pistol and Joker cards for that outfit as well.

Seven interchangable posing hands are included as well as both the cop Joker head and the new make-up Joker head. There is also a deluxe figure stand with LED lights it comes with, which has yet to be shown. It should be ready to release around the third part of this year, but there is no price mentioned yet, but be prepared for quite a high price tag, though with these new photos it's definitely worth it. I know this is definitely number one on my want list.
