Check out these incredible, yet tiny Star Wars papercrafts
by Brian Szabelski on 03/10/2009 2 comments

Ever wondered what you could do with those extra pieces of scrap paper you've got lying around? French artist Hubert de Lartigue happened to have a few extra tickets from the Paris Metro subway, and in 2004, he set about seeing what he could fold them into. The end result after six months of hard work is what you see above: a miniature X-Wing. And he did the whole thing with only an X-Acto knife and a bone folder. No glue, no tape, nothing of that sort.

If you'd like to try and recreate this amazing piece, or just want to get a look at some of the incredible attention to detail, head on over here, where Hubert has posted the full step-by-step directions on how to do it yourself. And yes, he's got English instructions, too, so you don't have to translate. Hubert has also made a pint-sized Millenium Falcon from four Metro tickets, but the step-by-step for that is in French only.
