Kotobukiya don't play around. Rather than release one delicious figure a month, they've decided to so straight for the jugular and announce four this time around. My favorite of the batch, Ayanami Rei in a maid costume, is due out in May and ranks as the priciest of the batch at ¥6800.

There's also a new version of Elmina from Shining Wind coming in May as well, which will retail for ¥6200. You may recognize her from the previews we posted last year, and although she doesn't quite nudge Blanc Neige out of my personal #1 favorite spot, I still think she's awfully lovely.

Magical Girl Maryan is the third in this batch, slated for the same month as the others and priced at ¥5800, and is accompanied Yuzuhara Haruka (also from ToHeart2). Maryan seems to possess every detail that a good moe girl should, while there's something about Haruka that I just find to be a bit ... off. I think it's the little cat-mouth (look closely), although I like everything else about the figure.
