Little Busters' Sasasegawa Sasami is a pain in the ass to say
by DickMcVengeance on 01/13/2009 4 comments

I have never met a person in Japan, nor read about one online, with such a complicated name. Really, who would torture their kids and name them like this?

But, despite my bitching, I can't help but like this figure. Her princess-like attitude makes me happy in a less than decent way. I'm not too familiar with Little Busters, as it's a Key product -- I was never a fan of Clannad and whatnot -- but Sasami's design here strikes me as something different. I feel, though, if I played the game or read the manga, I'd quickly be annoyed by her.

But that's the attraction of the figure! I don't have to hear her talk! I can spend my time imagining her own voice and enjoy the sultry stockings that she's wearing. The outfit is ultimately simple, but it is attractive nonetheless. The 7,250 yen price tag is a bit much for this Cospa figure, but if it gets discounted, I'd love to pick it up.

On an unrelated note, I'd just like to share the unnecessary amount of information available on the Japanese Wikipedia: Sasami's three sizes are 78/54/81. Yes, you needed to know that.
