Patch Together and Mekazoo have hit both my love for wrestling and robots right on the mark. Robolucha is one pissed off robot who used to wrestle until he became frustrated with the lack of opponents to actually defeat him. He now lives in a humble apartment eating mechanic nachos and drinking lubricant tequila.
How does he stand up as a toy though? Hit the jump to find out!

Robolucha is pretty rad, not only because he's a wrestling robot, but because he can actually play heel or face depending on how you turn his head. I, of course, lean more towards the bad guys, so he plays a heel in my photoshoot.
He was sent to me the same day as the Yetis so I decided to have a knock out battle royal and see who would win in a match, and the box wasn't lying when it said he couldn't find a rival to beat him. Robolucha definitely kicked some Yeti tush in the match.

The articulation is excellent for the figure, as you can move his arms on a spherical axis which works well to do both cheering and anger poses. The legs also move a bit so that you can reposition them, as well as the head turning completely around so that you can have the two different faces. Everything seems to move really well, and this is definitely my favorite in articulation of their figures to date.

I really like the paint job on the Robolucha as well, and there are two other colorways available including Red/Blue and Orange/Grey. I really like the Yellow/Black the best, but it is nice to have the other options though so that you can have a wicked Three Way Dance match with quite nice colors.

The box is very creative as usual when you get a Patch Together product. The back of the box gives the history of the character, while the front has an open window so you can see what he looks like. There's also a card inside with information on him, and great artwork all around the box.

If you're in any way a fan of wrestling, robots or just cool toys in general I would definitely suggest you pick Robolucha up. This was some of the most fun I've had taking photos and it was a marvelous time. He looks great sitting on the shelf, and would make a great addition to any vinyl lovers collection. You can pick them up now from Patch Together individually for $45 or as a set for $100.
