If you are as addicted to not only collecting but sharing your collection with others, you may have already considered photographing your figures. However, there are a lot of passionate collectors out there who aren't packing the resources that a full-fledged photographer has, which may cause them to sigh and assume they cannot do it. It's not true, sad little pigeons -- you CAN do it.
While looking for information on this very subject, a friend passed me a link to this excellent summary of how to photograph your figures posted by one of our very favorite sources for drop-dead gorgeous figure pics on the internet, Happy Soda. You may think you need professional equipment to produce such amazing pictures, but that is not the case. As long as you understand the essential element of how to light your figures, you may find the results can be thrilling, especially if you are willing to spend the time to make them look their best.
I hope you enjoy it -- it's certainly nothing new as it was posted a while back, but it's such a simple and effective guide I thought many of you would enjoy learning about how to do it yourself.
[Thanks, Ben!]
