Play, Create and Share with ModNation Racers on PS3
by Rio McCarthy on 06/02/2009 1 comments

Any of you who are video game nerds like myself are probably watching the E3 press conferences as I am while I write, and will have seen the amazing new title known as ModNation Racers. United Front Games of Vancouver has taken what LittleBIGPlanet was to creativity in the game world and has now created what looks to be an amazing Mario Kart style clone.

You may ask, "Why is this being written about on Tomopop?" Well, the characters that are driving the cars are vinyl toys that you can customize to your own liking. The developers loved what Kid Robot and tokidoki had done in the vinyl world, and wanted to make something similar in their creative racer.

During their fantastic live demo of the game at Sony's E3 Press Conference they were capable of making an entire race track in under 5 minutes, and made it look not only awesome but insanely fun as well.

So keep your eyes peeled vinyl lovers, this game is sure to delight and bring out the creativity in you. We'll be looking to see what you create for sure once the game launches for PS3 in 2010! Check out this gameplay creation video via theweirdpixel's Youtube to see what they've got in store for you.
