Not as clumsy or random as a fork, lightsaber chopsticks are elegant tableware for a more civilized day
by Jason Millward on 09/28/2009 1 comments

When you're pulling out of hyperspace near Coruscant, you're likely feeling some serious hunger. Once your ship is docked, you sit at the counter of a modest diner and prepare yourself to feast on some General Veers' Chicken. Then you encounter a problem: the diner's chopsticks are of very poor quality. You'll be picking splinters out of your hands for hours. Being the rogue-Jedi-turned-smuggler that you are, you came prepared. Out of your tunic you pull out your lightsaber chopsticks.

Kotobukiya's Force-powered utensils, which Japanator previewed some months ago, are finally available for pre-order. You have your choice of Darth Vader's red sabers or Luke Skywalker's blue blades. Each 9" set will also include a smaller 8" pair modeled after Yoda's weapon (you know, for kids). Each will run about 20 bucks and will be shipping out in December. Just think, you could be using these bad boys to chow down on some Mon Calimari sashimi by Christmas!
