[Monthly Megapixel is where we ask you to utilize toys and photos to express the monthly theme. Create an excellent blog and you could find your work on the front page as a Tomopop guest editor!. -ed]
Futurama quotes aside, awesome as they are, I'm going to open this post with a statement which may sound condescending and might spark some sort of "debate".
I have little to no Creative ability.
Sure, I paint GK but when you boil things down, that's just putting paint on a figure which is almost done already. Ask me to draw and, although I don't come close to artistic majesty of Kobayashi Yuu, I'd make QUALITY animators look like geniuses.

Likewise, I don't really have an eye for photography set-pieces and perhaps tell a story like the other members have displayed in their Monthly Megapixel entries, but since this is the first one AND it's the holidays, I thought I would give it a shot by playing to my strengths.
The Monthly Megapixel theme was what actually gave me the idea for this little number as I was looking to do something with the kit but couldn't decide. In the end, it helped me out a fair bit, so here she is.
SANTA HOIHOI!!!

A pretty easy job in the end. It took me just over a week to do, due to a certain "mishap".

The only problem now is that I don't have a regular Hoihoi figure... Guess that gives me a reason to get the heavy weapons version, but I hate the colourscheme...
Combat-san is a must get tho!

And because it's Christmas, Santa Hoihoi came bearing a gift!!

I finally picked up my copy of Otacool, which I asked a friend to get for me when she went to Japan a while back.
I have to admit that I get mixed and conflicting feelings when I read it tho, seeing as I'm in the book... [-ed: Holy smokes! Way to go, dude!]

In any case, my blog post for this week details the steps I took with hoihoi to get her look. And if you're interested in the inspiration for the design, it was from one of the pages of the manga. You can read it here.
