Medicom's Motoko Kusanagi rapes your wallet in style
by Scott Hall on 02/12/2008 13 comments

In my near future, I can see my bank account suddenly tremble as the impact hits. I wish I could change the future, but it seems doubtful: with the much-awaited upcoming release of the Medicom 1/6th scale Motoko Kusanagi Ghost in the Shell figure from the Real Action Heroes line, it seems to me I'm doomed to be broke.

For those of you new to toys, let me clarify that 1/6th means a 12" figure. "The Major," as she is more commonly referred to by her compatriots, will come equipped with her standard Section 9 armorments, clad in battle suit and signature purple hair. She retails for 17,640 Yen ($169.99 US) and can be preordered now for her August release.

If you aren't familiar with Ghost in the Shell, you're missing one of the best anime series on the market. Standalone Complex is not to be missed.  The show airs on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim or can be snagged at Amazon. Back to the figure, however -- Toyslogic is accepting preorders through April 30th, so if you want one keep the date in mind!
