K-ON! Mio figure, Nendoroid revealed
by Brian Szabelski on 07/17/2009 7 comments

K-ON!'s run is over (for now) and I'm a bit sad about that, but the upside is that I get to look forward to all the new K-ON! figures that are coming out. We knew that a Mio Nendoroid and Mio figure would both be coming out, and now, we're getting our first glimpse of both thanks to the wonders of the Web. Danny Choo has a post up showing off both figures, including the Mio Nendoroid Good Smile Co. will be producing. Yes, it is absolutely adorable, from Mio's tiny bass and amp to the expression on her little face. As for the Mio figure, it does appear to be the one they were talking about on the official K-ON! blog. Alter will be producing this 1/8-scale figure and the pose looks okay, but I'll need to see the whole thing in color before I can make a judgment.

Both figures are expected to be display at the upcoming WonderFest Summer 2009, and Danny has said he will be posting about the Nendoroid this weekend, so we'll definitely be keeping an eye out for that. I would still like a Tsumugi Nendoroid, kind folks at Good Smile, but your Mio Nendoroid certainly pleases me. Still no news on the other Mio figure we saw a while back, but we'll be keeping an eye on that for certain.
