It's cold so let's all think of summer with Wave's Beach Queens
by Jonathan Tubbs on 12/19/2009 3 comments

We all are aware of Wave's Beach Queen's series and if you're not, it's a series of anime women out for some summer fun. It's also an excuse to take favorite anime characters and throw them in some bikinis. Wave's staff decided to photo the current available set of Beach Queens figures showing us for the first time that all bases can seamlessly sit together side by side. I for one at least didn't know this.

Who we see in this photo are Takamachi Nanoha and Fate T. Harlaown of Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha, Shishido Akiha and Kannagi Itsuki of Sora wo Kakeru Shoujo and Akiyama Mio and Hirasawa Yui from K-On! Absent are the recently announced Kotobuki Tsumugi from K-On! and Lynn Minmay and Mylene Jenius from the Macross series.

Now the main reason I'm covering all this old news is for what's going on in the background. Who do we see? Why isn't that Ritsu and Azunyan~ with the K-On! girls? And with the Nanoha gals? Is that Hayate and Teana? Could be, could be. I'm sure time will tell. Do these unannounced girls have you excited?
