Huge Gundam model is HUGE
by Garrett Yim on 03/05/2010 2 comments

Marking Bandai Hobby's 30th Anniversary for the Gundam Gunpla models, they have released a 1/48 scale Gundam RX-78-2 model. We're talking even LARGER than the 1/60 scale Perfect Grade series. If you want a big, intimidating Gundam protecting your other defenseless figures or models, this would be the one to get! This Mega-size model is a whopping 15 inches tall and retains the subtle animation look of the first Mobile Suit Gundam series rather than its more realistic Perfect Grade version.

Amiami had this in stock for 25% less than other competitors like HLJ, but if you were avid enough to check out our Reserve or Regret feature, you probably would have gotten yours by now!

Hit the jump to check out this massive model!

Like the animation, it retains all its basic weaponry, from the beam rifle, the beam swords, and the signature Gundam shield.

Although this puppy is huge doesn't mean it cannot bust a cool pose. It retains as much articulation as a High Grade model would have.

And lastly...

Size comparison! It's definitely nice to see just how much larger this stacks up to the Perfect grade version!
