I always kind of grumble at the pricing of Huck Gee's figures, but I admit he's made some great creations, and this is certainly one of them. Called Hanami Afternoon, Huck created it for an event called Three Apples which is an art event celebrating 35 years of Hello Kitty. Vinyl Pulse has a few more photos of her if you want to get a better look.
The event kicked off this past Friday at the Royal/T (a cosplay-style cafe) at 8910 Washington Blvd in Culver City, so if you happen to live in or around the Los Angeles area you should stop by and check it out. No word on whether or not Huck intends to sell Hanami Afternoon, but if by some chance he does and you want to try to buy it, better start saving your dollars now.
