Andrew Chase's Steampunk Mechanical Cheetah has me in awe, and I don't even know where to begin. I've always loved Steampunk growing up, and if it wasn't for people like James Cameron or, Mr.Chase here, I have a feeling we'd be seeing a lot less of it these days. Sure, Steampunk is not for everyone, but certainly you can appreciate it a little when you see something as awesome as this.
Measuring 24 inches in height and 50 inches from front to back, this mechanical beast is composed of electrical conduit, transmission parts, and 20-gage steel, reportedly weighing in at 40 pounds. The joints even give it the ability to pose, no doubt making it a wonderful piece of art to photograph. Though, I can't imagine posing it would be an easy task. While I'm not surprised that it took Andrew 60 hours to piece together, I'm sure it would have taken me much longer.
