HENGE is a relatively new company on the toy market, and if you're going to make your presence known, there's no better way to do it than with something mindblowing. Their newest project, which goes only by its item number of h010101 is certainly eye-catching. Released earlier this month, h010101 is made of polyurethane resin, completely assembled and produced in Japan, and might just be the wet dream of fans of the modern-age mecha. I mean, it looks like something that fell out of Evangelion or Gurren Lagann on design alone. The transforming part ... well, that blows my mind.

Now, this isn't cheap by any means: h010101 is priced at 100,000 yen, which is roughly US$1100. Furthermore, h010101 is limited to a run of 100 pieces. But is it worth it?
