It's been a long time coming, but we finally have release info for the series we all knew was on its way. I posted a picture of the series several months back, which means that the designs have been finalized for quite some time. Kidrobot made us wait a very long time for pictures, but they are completely worth the wait. Although they did change the name to "Dunny Fatale" instead of Femme Fatale, which in my opinion sounded much better. The finished pieces look fantastic. There are only images of a few, but the pictures so far are simply amazing. The Koralie is stunning, and far better looking than the original design. This is a piece that translated flawlessly from paper to vinyl, and based on the pictures we have so far Dunny Fatale may very well be one of the best Dunny series ever.

Sadly, not all of the designs shown so far have lived up to expectations. The Toofly original design had the eyelashes popping out, which made this otherwise dull piece seem rather innovative. However, the eyelashes are simply painted on, which is a bit of a letdown. Other than that, this series is looking good. Especially the Tara McPherson--but then again, when has she ever disappointed with a Dunny design? Many of these look like they come with accessories, and a few of them are tiny animal pals!

Dunny Fatale will be released in late January and will sell for the usual $7.95 a box. It is rumored to be about the same run size as the UK, which is fantastic news because it means that these will not run out on opening day like original reports said. All in all, I am pumped for this release! Hopefully it can live up to the awesomeness that was Series 6.
