Jeremiah Ketner has worked on many beautiful customs in the past, but this one, entitled "Soft Wind Blows," is a particularly spectacular piece. The details on this 8" Dunny are astounding--everything from the tiny flowers on the ears to the petals on the back of the head are gorgeously realized. I feel that some artists tend to skimp on the smaller details, and treat the platform they are working on like a toy, not a blank canvas. Jeremiah Ketner really elevates these "toys" to the level of high art--I would not be at all surprised to find a painting of his hanging in a gallery alongside his customs. This piece was for a private collector, so sadly it is not for sale, but if you're dying for some of his work he has many prints up for sale in his store.
This is his first time working on a Dunny--perhaps he will submit a design for the upcoming Series 7? I would love to see him put out a production piece, as not enough people know about this amazing artist. He does have a piece in the upcoming Cranston Fellows Jr. Custom show, and I am excited to see what he will do with the platform! Everything he has put out so far has been nothing short of jaw-dropping, so hopefully he has done something beautiful and amazing to Mr. Cranston!
