Last week, Anime Expo kicked off in Los Angeles to (supposedly) record breaking crowds. Tens of thousands gathered to cosplay, shop, and sit through panel after panel. While the panels themselves weren't very interesting--save for a lovely presentation on how to build an award winning resin garage kit but more on that later--we were fortune enough to have a wonderful photographer helping us out on the show floor. As a result we managed to snag some amazing cosplay galleries for Japanator, and if you haven't seen them already, you might want to check them out.
I was also able to sneak a few photos of figures into the mix and they really look great, considering a few of these were behind glass. That said, you'll have to excuse any of the small particles you see in some of the shots as we can't really help the fact that con-goers were drooling all over it. Rightfully so, of course.
Later, I'll also be posting a few shots of customs from the artist alley--some of which came from one our very own community members--as well as some content from that panel I mentioned before. Thanks again to Ace0fClubs5 for taking such awesome photos for us.
